I think it is the
funniest movie I have seen here so far. You really want to know how it ends. And the
ending is very good.

Don't be fooled by the title;
this is not a Bugs Bunny cartoon. What it is, though, is a fun and well-produced short
based on a popular urban legend. The lighthearted, silly tone is satisfying, but I kept
wondering how they made the fuzzy bunny prop (it looks pretty damn realistic, but the
credits make the claim that no real bunny gave up his or her life for comedy).
Production values are
solid throughout The Splitting Hare-Ache, the music is effective, and the decent
performances make the most of the one-joke premise. It’s easy to feel the desperation
and angst of the woman as she tries her best to right the wrong done by her bad little
doggie (Snoopy never would have been so gauche). Some of you may see the punch line
coming, but it's still cute. Playing with dead animals hasn't been this much fun since the
first grade!

I knew of the urban
legend, but this was the funniest, most twisted movie I think I've seen. Keep up the good
work - the talent is all in the "tell".
